NUMBER OF WORDS: 1,760 INCREASING SUPPORT FOR SINGLE FATHERS It is fairly easy to figure out that there aren't as many support groups for fathers as there are groups and networks for mothers. Go along to any toddler or baby activity and the majority of the carers in the group will be either mothers or female childminders. This is not to say that fathers are completely under represented. The “fatherhood issue” is very much a perennial topic. News about father focused services, run by people with a burning desire to bridge the gender gap, spring up in the headlines from time to time. Things are changing and hopefully 2009 will see the opening of another new service in the London area called “Homes for Fathers and Families” (HOFF), also known as “Dads House”, which will focus solely on lone fathers in a new and innovative way.
Emma LangwithFollowing on from the 'Night at Dads's' first charity night, Emma is working on a joint venture with Miles Winter Roberts to produce a charity single for Dads House. In the meantime for those of you that would like to know more about Emma you can
