Welcome to Dads House

Homes for Fathers and Families (“HOFF”) is a project aimed at providing the same degree of support for single fathers as is available for single mothers in the UK. Fathers who look after their children on their own have much the same difficulties as mothers. In addition they are not necessarily as naturally gifted when it comes to caring for their children, nor are they seen as needing help, for example by employers in regard to time off or flexibility in working hours. As a result, in many cases, their children suffer.

Dadshouse has been chosen to take part in the Movie release of The Road.The film revolves around the father, (played brilliantly by Viggo Mortensen) and his son, Kodi Smith Mcphee,who find themselves fighting for survival in the aftermath of a worldly disaster and losing the boy’s mother (played by Charlize Theron.THE ROAD explores the lengths the father will go to to look after his boy and protect him on their journey.

Buddy Service

Dadshouse has introduced a buddy service.From our experience there is very little information on the practicalities of being a single dad.And we know how important it is,to have someone to talk to with your concerns.
The Buddy service is very informal and low key where you can have a coffee and a chat.
